Plan Melbourne: another missed opportunity

From May 2012 to August 2013, Professor Roz Hansen headed the Ministerial Advisory Committee to develop a new metropolitan plan for Melbourne. She says the State Government ultimately opted for ‘politics not people’ and that its Plan Melbourne strategy fails to act on the deep disadvantage built into the city’s outer suburbs.
